Introduction to The Textbook "Chinese for Thai Lawyer"
Published preface
In response to the increasing number of Chinese investors in Thailand and the increasing number of Chinese cases handled by Thai law society, the editor has prepared this textbook "Chinese for Thai Lawer. This is another masterpiece published by Modern C-ED Center, following the publication of professional Chinese teaching series, such as "Chinese for Hospital", "Chinese for Real Estate", "Chinese-Thai Context VI and VII".
There are 10 titles in the book. The editor extracts many civil and criminal cases which she has experienced or heard in Thailand for more than 30 years, and then blends them into the conversational scenes of Thai lawyers handling Chinese cases to write the following ten topics:
1. To Hire a Lawyer; 2. Business operation should abide by the Company Law; 3. If you violate traffic regulations, you will be punished. 4. Partners of the company; 5. Distribution of property after divorce; 6. Buying and selling drugs is a crime. 7. Make a textator ; 8. Plaintiff and defendant; 9. Out-of-court mediation; 10. Awaiting trial. *Answer to practice questions for each lesson*
The editors hope that this book will not only help Thai legal professionals communicate with Chinese clients, but also help Chinese who have lived in Thailand for a long time to better understand the local laws and regulations. Though the author spent more than a year for the preparation of this book , however, limitd by the professional level, the content in this book may still far and up to the requirements of the law practitioners, it must also exist many deficiencies in the book. So the readers are invited to criticize and correct on it . This will make the Editor feel the effect of throwing bricks to attract jade and it will be regarded as a consolation for editor's work.
